Also, if you are a fellow Cambridge Satchel Company fan, then you might want to check out this post on the Daisy Bag and I also have one on the new and super adorable Little One bag and of course, the iconic and always wonderful Poppy bag!
I have a bit of a collection of these bags now, what can I say, I love these British Made, super cute, indie girl favourite! Our Traveller Bag with Side Pockets was inspired by a vintage camera bag and was made for adventurers. A cross-body bag with plenty of space for a small camera to capture all those amazing moments along the way.
We think so too. As for the colour, that is inspired by the blue sky of the beautiful sunny days they hope you will enjoy using your traveller bag. Love Cambridge Satchel Company bags but want to save a few pennies?
Me too! Sign up here. Personally I think this is a fair price for a mid-size British Made full leather handbag of this quality. The only thing I would say, is choose your colour carefully. If you want a bag for all seasons, then the pale blue Daybreak shade might not be the best for the colder months and you might want to consider the Oxblood or Clay, Oxblood and Navy, which is a great colour choice for all year round. In the summer it feels quite nautical and in the Winter it feels more moody.
However, this will not happen fast, but you can speed things up by polishing your bag often. This is really up to personal preference.
Some people love the classic satchel, but I personally love either the Daisy or Poppy bag. Which are both a little more simple and I think practical to use. Both these styles are feminine and playful mid-size designs, where as the Traveller bag is still very cute, but a little less girly. Yes, they do! The Cambridge Satchel Company have really good sales which are always worth checking out, both online and instore.
All I can say is that the internet is a beautiful thing. A very like-minded Meg read my posts, understood my plight, and recommended a bag company she thought would solve all my woes: The Cambridge Satchel Company. Meg and I have a lot in common. Our super rad name, for starters. And like me, she is a Seattleite about town who braves the elements.
And she generally carries a pair of dance shoes in her bag. Receiving my Cambridge Satchel in the mail was truly a special experience. It fit snugly in the box, well-wrapped in paper and a soft storage bag. This bag is unarguably MINE. And even after a full month of daily and hard use, it looks as spiffy as the day I opened it.
This bag is ridiculously versatile and has worked well in most situations. It can carry my tiny blogging machine , my kindle, an umbrella, and other daily necessities in a very organized fashion. It is apologetically rigid in a way that ensures it always stands upright. Aside from the size, I love how versatile the adjustable shoulder strap is.
Carry it cross the body for a classic preppy style or hold it as a clutch for a clean and refined look. Also, I have to say the nickel buckles on the bag are not easy to fasten and unfasten. I usually have one or both buckles undone instead of fastening carefully.
The main compartment is pretty spacious. The additional top handle makes it more practical. The color vintage tan is such a timeless and elegant color.
