The field of pharmacy is growing, and there are so many niches that I can explore. Pharmacy is a profession that balances both the field of science with patient care, both of which I am passionate about. What type of obstacles have you had to overcome on the road to getting your education and in particular in pursuing your PharmD degree?
Throughout my four years at UC Riverside, I found it very difficult to be able to balance both academic and personal goals together. Working a full-time job as well, it was a challenge taking accelerated classes, working, and studying. After my second year, I finally was able to pull myself together knowing that I had to finish undergrad and then apply for pharmacy school.
To build on this effort, Sona will partner with teams in Product, Onboarding, Engagement and Marketing to bring more registered readers through the pipeline and expose them to the many conversations happening across our site. Sona started at The Times in and has pioneered some of our most ambitious reader-focused projects.
She worked closely with reporters to develop coverage around how the pandemic is reshaping the American health care system and how the coronavirus has affected our most vulnerable communities. In her new role, Sona will build on her success of finding career development opportunities for members of the Community team. Last year she formed a highly successful partnership between Audience and our California Today newsletter to bring in a Community moderator as a regular contributor and inject Audience insights into editorial planning.
