Who is the forgotten warrior

The battle between the Dark Forest and the warrior Clans has arrived. Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovewing wait desperately for the fourth cat who is prophesied to help them - and who may be their only hope for survival.

By: Erin Hunter. As the dark forces that have come between the four warrior Clans grow stronger, Jayfeather is summoned to the mountains by a desperate plea - the Tribe of Rushing Water is on the brink of being lost forever. As tensions grow between the Clans, Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovepaw realize that evil is sometimes no more than a whisker's length away.

Meanwhile, one cat will make a stand for what is right - and another may be lost forever. Dovepaw now knows that she will be the third cat to hold the power of the stars in her paws. But even together, she, Jayfeather, and Lionblaze may not be able to protect the Clans from a mysterious visitor who threatens their future. It has been foretold that Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and one other cat will hold the power of the stars in their paws. Now they must wait for a sign from StarClan to tell them which of their Clanmates will complete the prophecy.

But now, they must decipher a mysterious prophecy - a message that will send one young medicine cat apprentice on a quest to determine the fate of all the warrior Clans. The secret of Hollyleaf's, Jayfeather's, and Lionblaze's true identities has been revealed, but one shocking question remains unanswered.

Now Clanmate will turn upon Clanmate, and one more warrior may be lost forever As Jaypaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw struggle with the weight of their destinies, a mysterious warning shakes the Clans' faith in their ancestors.

All four Clans are in danger - and the fate of the warrior code now rests in the paws of three apprentices. As doubt sweeps through the forest, Jaypaw, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf are determined to convince the Clans that StarClan is still vitally important to the warrior code. But darkness lurks in the most unexpected places, and one cat is about to reveal a secret that will rock ThunderClan to its core.

A secret prophecy shapes the lives of Firestar's grandchildren, and Jaypaw believes that the cats of the ancient Tribe of Rushing Water may hold the key. But when he, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw travel to the Tribe's mountain home, they may discover secrets they never expected. Yet their new responsibilities bring new dangers, and each young cat is about to discover darkness: in the past, in the Clans - and in themselves. ShadowClan has fallen. A group of rogues now rules the pine forest, and their cruel leader, Darktail, will not stop until he has conquered the rest of the Clans.

SkyClan has returned to its rightful place among the other four warrior Clans, hoping to find a new territory to call home. But not every cat is convinced this is where SkyClan belongs - and the fate of all five warrior Clans remains uncertain. Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw - grandchildren of the great leader Firestar - possess unusual power and talent. But secrets and uncertainty surround them, and a mysterious prophecy hints at trouble to come.

Saw this flick 10 years ago with a couple of friends and a few beers and we were blown away! The storyline is confoundingly stupid, the dialogue so scarce and grotesquely bad that none of us were able to control ourselves.

This is a rare gem, as most bad movies are just plain bad; this one takes bad to another level, and if you're ever able to find it, savor it with your friends, although drunkenness might be required A truly great moment is the scene where a rainbow seems to have been painted directly onto the celluloid with a couple of crayons, another is when our hero bandages himself with his torn yellow dirty t-shirt, only to wear the shirt, which has now been cleaned, for the duration of the movie without showing any signs of injury - oh, and the one-handed stick fight in which the villain and the hero fights with one foot long sticks - and never using the other hand to lash out at each other.

I could keep going, but you have to see it for yourself - it doesn't get much better or worse! MightyB May 26, FAQ 1. Details Edit.

This was definitely the best book out of Omen of the Stars, and better than any book of Power of Three. This book is why I have stuck with Warriors for over three years. It had all the excitment a book from this series should, enough surprises and plot twists to keep things interesting, and it answered enough questions, while leaving enough for the fans to ponder over too.

I can honestly say that after getting past the first few chapters, I was not bored once while reading this book, something that isn't true of the other books from Omen of the Stars. I thought that this was going to be the most predictable Warriors book yet after reading the beginning, but I was quickly proven wrong.

Without giving to much away, I think that this book does a great job of building up towards the ending, and that it is a great finish for the fifth book of the series. All in all, I would say that this book is well worth any Warriors fan's time.

There are several old characters returning not all of them in the way you would expect and plenty of the action and drama that makes reading Warriors so much fun. I think her return was handled well. It's obvious that her time away has allowed her to mature, while she still stays true to her character.

She still follows the code to the very end. Sol's return surprised me. I will admit I did not see that coming at all. I'm tempted to pick up the SkyClan manga now to see how he was burned so badly by the Clans. I'm hoping he will return in the next book, but I'll be okay if he does not. I'm guessing there's going to be a ton of stuff happening already. I am just glad that some of his loose ends are finally wrapped up, such as why he has such an interest in the Clans.

Briarlight is going to be Jayfeather's apprentice. Calling it now. Cinderheart, where to begin I'm so glad that she's finally found out about her past life as Cinderpelt! I've been waiting for this ever since The New Prophecy. The only thing I would be disappointed about is that Cinderpelt as a character might be virtually gone from the series, if Cinderheart continues with her new life.

Though I doubt she'll forget her life as Cinderpelt Lionblaze admitting Squirrelflight was a good mother was sweet. Perhaps he'll finally be able to forgive her and Leafpool and Hollyleaf and Jayfeather will as well It's impressive how much Ivypool has grown as a character. She's come so far from being that jealous apprentice. Now she's willing to sacrifice everything for her Clan.

Granted, it was awful that she killed Antpelt. Hopefully there is a nice afterlife after the one the cats know. StarClan really aren't that wise anymore. I guess it's an interesting take on the afterlife. Though I wouldn't want to go there. I wonder how this all will turn out for Jayfeather. Not well, I imagine. Though I'm glad that he was able to stand his ground and stand up for himself. He would never kill Flametail. WindClan's agression is getting pretty bad.

It won't bode well for the future. I hope Onestar chews those warriors out for such a stupid attack. Exciting battle though, with a nice build up.

It made an excellent conclusion to the novel. I can't wait to see how all this plays out in The Last Hope! View all 9 comments. View 1 comment. Oct 27, Karen rated it liked it. Erm, yes. These are my guilty pleasure. View all 5 comments. It has to be Hollyleaf. Or maybe Ravenpaw from the first series wants revenge on Tigerstar and comes to help.

I don't thinnk Hollyleaf is the fourth beacause on Wikipedia, in the fifth series the battle has begun and the Three are stressing out because the can't find the fourth.

I also heard somewhere in the fifth series Firestar dies. If this happened in the first series or maybe even the second, I would be shocked. But now I dom't care. Erin made Firestar boring. I think he is getting old. Lots of refrences to past books such as Hollyleaf, Sol, and Cinderpelt. I liked that, it reminded me of when Firestar wasn't boring and it made me want to read the series again.

I may do that while waiting for The Last Hope This one was little less focused on the Three but there was some Threeness in there, especially when Dovewing loses her powers. It was a good break and I am glad Erin didn't cram it in there.

Sol is back for revenge, too. ThunderClan shelters him, thinking he saved Molepaw and Cherrypaw from a fox. Later in the book, Dovewing and Ivypool stalked him, into the tunnels. And guess who they found. I am gonna leave you hanging, so this the end of my reveiw.

He of course is back to his old bag of tricks. But is he truly the forgotten warrior? After all he was never a warrior to begin with No, the forgotten warrior is a different cat.

Take your best guess : I loved the plot of this book. It was much better than the last warrior book. Dark Forest is br The final battle is growing ever so closer. Dark Forest is brainwashing even more clan cats to join and train amongst their ranks. Ivypool works undercover to discover the time and place of the final battle. She learns that the time is drawing ever closer.

But when the time comes will she be able to get out alive or will Dark Forest cats take her down before she can alert Firestar? Loved this book!

I wish I could build a time machine, travel forward in time and get The Last Hope. Read it. And get an autographed copy of The Last Hope. View all 4 comments. Oh my gosh I can't wait to read it! I really hope Hollyleaf come back! I miss her and I wish that Lionblaze, and mostly Jayfeather would forgive Leafpool. It's so sad how they're angry at her and I really want Leafpool to be the medicine cat again! May 21, Isabella McPhee rated it it was amazing Shelves: omen-of-the-stars , favorites.

I think she was lying about not seeing other cats though, when Ivypool and blossomfall went down they met a cat. I think it was fallen leaves but he's a ghost so I'm confused. View 2 comments. I'm so glad that Hollyleaf came back. Apr 08, Micheline rated it really liked it Shelves: fantasy , creature-characters , young-adult. And the second to last book of the series as we know it. According to the authors, the next series of Warrior Cats isn't written; and would take place at the beginning of the clans, kind of like prequels. I was worried I'd be confused; having finished the previous OotS Warriors book in June; but there are always short and sweet little reminders thrown in, which aren't excessive; cause I di The Forgotten Warrior, the long awaited book 5 in the Omen of the Stars OotS series of the Warriors book.

I was worried I'd be confused; having finished the previous OotS Warriors book in June; but there are always short and sweet little reminders thrown in, which aren't excessive; cause I didn't notice them previously when I was reading each book back to back This book picks up about a month after the events of 'Sign of the Moon' book 4 in the 6 book OotS series.

The battle of the Dark Forest looms ever closer, the Dark Forest cats are still recruiting heavily, training cats from all four clans in their dreams. As always I find the dream-walker element of the Warriors series fascinating. All these cats being trained separately and almost like a second clan is causing rifts within the traditional clan structures As always, the writing style is delightful; light and easy to fall into again even considering I had read the previous book almost 6 months ago.

The pacing is quick, the action is violent and brutal, and the plot thickens with secrets and prophecies. I had forgotten how much fun it is to read from a cat's perspective lol Its surprisingly human; but with some unique differences: The narrative is more instinctual, a lot of information comes from the senses; what they hear, what they smell, what they see and what they taste and feel.

It's fascinating to read from a perspective other than human, a refreshing change from the day to day fiction. Also the clan dynamic is still as much fun for me. The hierarchy of it all, the code the warriors live by, and how certain warriors bend it more often then others I really had missed it all! Jayfeather is as usual, my favorite perspective to read: he's moody and defensive, but I love his special powers.

His ehnhanced empathy knowing what other cats are feeling , his hightened intuition and his dreams of course. I especially love when he visits other warriors dreams. He can even transform their dreaming environment to suit his purpose.

Even to places he's never been in times before he was born. I'm happy that he uses it for good and I'm still further fascinated with his powers He's still so intruiguing to me; a blind cat who almost sees better than the rest of the clan. Out of all the warrior series, he's definitely one of my all time favorites I really enjoy Lionblaze's perspective as well, not only for his special powers and part in the prophecy, but for his venture into the dark forest and how it built his character Despite the anticlimactic manor in which she is discovered, I'd say overall Hollyleaf is a welcome return.

I was quite frustrated with her before she disappeared in Sunrise in Po3 but she seems to have changed and I have to say I kinda like her again. She seems to have matured during her exile. She is as strategic and fair minded as she was, but there is a humbleness to her now.

Before she had the prophecy hanging over her, now she knows she is excluded from it, and it seems to have given her pause. I hope I won't regret writing this lol I really enjoyed this addition to OotS and I seriously hope I can make it till book 6 comes out!
