You are about to leave this website Close Continue. I once owned and played this game on a Lenovo Ideapad Y It was very good, with 16! Unfortunately for me, the Metro Detroit Flood of August 11, ruined my entire gaming setup, including my laptop. I now play a decent version of the game on a desktop. There are plenty of laptops capable of running this game. Yes, certain rigs will have heat issues, but a good number of us play on laptops, and have since the game launched, and have no issues. Um, no and no All notebooks are designed to run at their peak efficiency, and whoever told you not to game on a laptop is giving out bad advice.
I have been gaming on notebooks since , using everything from entry level notebooks to gaming class that use full on desktop CPUs that got really hot. Use resources like www. Generally, yes I've been playing swtor for around a year now and really enjoy it. I've been looking on sites such as Amazon and apparently all their gaming PC's can run games perfectly but id much rather makesure and get a players opinions first sorry for the noob post!!

Power supply - best would be a good brand name PSU at watts, but, depending upon what you buy, you may be stuck with whatever PSU is in the system you buy. A Corsair CX is a good choice. Or CX, if you go for a higher end video card The rest - case, optical drive, storage, etc - is optional.
Hold water, a sieve may not, but hold another sieve, it will - Yoda. I think what people skimp on the most is one of the less expensive components: RAM. As stated, any mid to upper intel i5 or better CPU is fine. So any good video card will do.
